The Furuno GP1871F is a multi-touch GPS and chart plotter with CHIRP and conventional fish finder capabilities. Its all-glass design and GUI provide a consistent, intuitive user experience, similar to TZtouch2. The device features built-in 1kW TruEcho CHIRP and conventional fish finder with Accu-Fish, RezBoost, and Bottom Discrimination. It also has a built-in 72 channel GPS WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS Core, and antenna. The device comes with wireless capabilities for use with DRS4W Radar and C-MAP C-Weather downloads. The GP1871F is compatible with C-MAP 4D MicroSD Worldwide Cartographic Database and C-MAP C-Weather for Wind, Wave, Weather, Humidity, and Temperature. The device can control autopilot when integrated with NavPilot 711C or NavPilot 300. The GP1871F is certified NMEA2000/NMEA0183 Interface and accepts AIS data in both NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 formats.

The all-glass, multi-touch display of the GP1871F provides convenient and intuitive slide-out menus and edge-swipe gesture controls. The device features C-Map 4D charts and allows for the overlay of radar onto the chart plotter display via wireless connection to the Furuno DRS4W 1st Watch Wireless Radar. The GP1871F also includes a built-in TruEcho CHIRP and conventional fish finder, transmitting at 300W, 600W, or 1kW. The TruEcho CHIRP transmits across a spectrum of frequencies, delivering an incredible amount of detail and clearly marking individual game fish and bait fish. The conventional fish finder includes RezBoost data processing for an ultra-crisp, high-resolution picture. Other features include ACCU-FISH fish size assessment and the highly useful Bottom Discrimination function to help find the most productive fishing grounds.
