The Victron Energy BPR110048000 BatteryProtect 48V 100A Smart Disconnect is a smart device that disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged, preventing damage to the battery. It also ensures that there is sufficient power left to crank the engine when needed.

With Bluetooth capability, users can easily program the Smart BatteryProtect to set engage/disengage levels. There are nine predefined engage/disengage levels that can be set with the programming pin. Bluetooth can be disabled if necessary.

This unidirectional device can only handle current in one direction, either to a load or from a charger, but not both simultaneously. Current flows from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal, with the battery connecting to the IN terminal when used with a load, and the charger connecting to the IN terminal when used with a charger.
