Shakespeare 5242-A VHF Low Profile End-Fed Antenna - 36in SS Whip (No Cable)

The Shakespeare 5242-A is a 3 ft. (0.91 M) VHF Marine Band 3dB low-profile end-fed antenna with a standard duty whip. This legacy style is coming back due to customer request. A convenient press-and-twist bayonet fitting makes attaching or removing its stainless steel whip quick and easy. The bayonet has been re-designed and improved for extra convenience. The stainless steel whip (36in) is user replaceable and an L-shaped bracket is included for mounting. This antenna is best suited for bass boats and center console fishing boats, as well as small to medium and similar types of vessels.
