The Digital Yacht GPS160F is a high-performance GPS sensor designed specifically for use with chart plotters. It is a simple replacement for older Furuno plotter and GPS systems, providing an economical and reliable solution to technical issues associated with GPS system rollover changes.
With the GPS160F, Digital Yacht has developed a special version of their popular GPS160 Smart GNSS Sensor "TriNav" that outputs the older NMEA 0183 sentences and data format compatible with legacy Furuno systems. This enables seamless integration with Furuno GPS models like GP310, GP320, GP32, and more.
Featuring a refined anti-spoofing algorithm, the GPS160F ensures robust performance of position and interference rejection. It offers multiple formats of NMEA data output, including datum information that can be configured through internal DIP switches. With ultra-low power consumption (<20mA) at 12V DC, it is an energy-efficient choice.
The GPS160F comes with a 10m cable and a user manual that includes dedicated Furuno interfacing information. It can be easily connected to the existing Furuno system using a simple 4-wire connection.
