The Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 Charger is a professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth technology. It is designed for use in workshops and on motor vehicles such as cars, motorbikes, boats, and camper-vans.

With its wireless connectivity, the Blue Smart IP22 Charger allows you to monitor voltage and current, change settings, and update the charger with new features using your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Featuring a high efficiency of up to 94%, this charger generates up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to a mere 0.5 Watt, making it five to ten times more energy-efficient than other chargers on the market.

The Blue Smart Charger utilizes an adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm, including test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage modes. The charger's microprocessor-controlled battery management system optimizes the charging process based on your battery's usage pattern.

In storage mode, the charger reduces the float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates when the battery is not in use. This helps to extend the battery's lifespan and reduce maintenance requirements. Additionally, the charger is capable of charging Li-ion batteries using a simple bulk-absorption-float algorithm.

Even if the battery has been fully discharged to zero volts, the Blue Smart Charger can initiate charging and reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with its internal disconnect function.

With the NIGHT and LOW settings, the charger operates at reduced output current, making it noiseless and suitable for nighttime use. The NIGHT mode automatically ends after 8 hours, while the LOW mode can be manually ended.

The charger is protected against overheating, and the output current will reduce as the temperature increases up to 50&degC, ensuring the charger's reliability and safety.

The Blue Smart Charger features eleven LEDs that indicate the current charge algorithm and mode settings. These LEDs help you easily monitor the charging process and make adjustments as needed.
