The Victron Energy 12/25 BlueSmart IP67 Charger is a versatile and efficient charger designed to provide wireless monitoring, advanced settings, and regular updates. With Bluetooth Smart technology, this charger offers enhanced functionality similar to other IP22 and IP65 chargers.

Featuring a completely encapsulated design, the BlueSmart IP67 Charger is waterproof, shockproof, and ignition protected. It is constructed with a cast aluminum casing and molded resin electronics, ensuring protection against water, oil, and dirt.

With an industry-leading efficiency of 92% or better, this charger sets a new standard by wasting three to four times less heat compared to other chargers. Additionally, once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to less than a Watt, making it five to ten times more efficient than the industry standard.

The BlueSmart Charger utilizes an adaptive 5-stage charge algorithm, including bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage modes. This microprocessor-controlled battery management system optimizes the charging process based on the battery's usage, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

In storage mode, the charger minimizes maintenance and aging by reducing the float voltage to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. This prevents gassing and corrosion of the positive plates, reducing the risk of early battery failure. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to equalize the battery and prevent stratification of the electrolyte and sulphation.

The BlueSmart IP67 Charger is also capable of charging Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries using a simple bulk, absorption, and float algorithm.

This charger is designed to withstand high temperatures and is protected against overheating. It can be used in hot environments, such as machine rooms, without the risk of failure. The output current will reduce as the temperature increases, but the charger will continue to operate reliably.

The charger features two LEDs for status indication. The yellow LED indicates the charging mode, including bulk charge (blinking fast), absorption (blinking slow), float (solid), and storage (off). The green LED indicates power on.
